Born in Nigeria and raised in Atlanta, Mary Ukuku-Miller, PhD, MPH is currently a full-time lecturer in the Psychology Department at Kennesaw State University. Over the years, Dr. Ukuku-Miller has used her extensive education in public and mental health to serve with several health initiatives in Atlanta. Her love for the community and her desire to see the intersection of faith and health has driven Dr. Ukuku to focus on how faith-based institutions can address health in their communities. Dr. Ukuku-Miller has also worked for over ten years in the Vine City and Washington Park neighborhoods, first, as a mentor to young girls attending a girl’s bible study and now as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator for Redeemer Community Church. Dr. Ukuku-Miller is married to her wonderful husband Anthony Miller.
